Introduction

Caritas University, Nigeria, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into her Postgraduate School Programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session. This article details the necessary information concerning the programme durations, eligibility criteria, requirements, application method, and important dates.

Candidates Eligible to Be in Caritas University Post Graduate Programmes

  1. To qualify for admission into the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programme, applicants should be graduates of Caritas University or any other recognized university or persons who hold qualifications to be equivalent to first degree or holders of recognized Higher National Diploma.
  2. To qualify for admission into a master’s degree programme, applicants should be graduates with a minimum of Second Class Honours degrees
  3. Applicants for admission into Doctoral Degree programmes should be graduates of Caritas University or any other recognised university, who possess Master’s degrees with a dissertation and an overall average score of at least 60% (B).

Requirements

  1. All applicants should have credit pass at Ordinary Level in five relevant subjects including English Language obtained at not more than two sittings. Candidates with ‘O’ Level examination results before 2016 must possess their certificates and not statement of results or result slips
  2. NYSC Completion Certificates (Discharge Certificates), Exemption Certificates or Exclusion Certificates is required from all applicants.
  3. Applicants who obtained their first degrees through Remedial Programmes must show evidence of having remedied the relevant subjects for their programmes externally; that is, through WASCE, NECO, and NABTEB.
  4. In addition to other qualifications, applicants are expected to meet the departmental requirements for their programmes.
  5. Candidates should ensure that their official academic transcript(s) and three letters of reference are forwarded under confidential cover to:

  6. Admissions will not normally be offered without transcript(s) and letters of reference.

Duration of Caritas University Postgraduate Programmes

  1. PGD Programme - a minimum of two semesters or a maximum of four semesters.
  2. Master’s degree programme - a minimum period of four semesters or a maximum of six semesters.
  3. PhD Programme - a minimum of six semesters or a maximum of eight semesters.

NOTE: Our Postgraduate Programmes can be full time or Part time.

How to Apply for Caritas University PostGraduate Admission

Application Forms can be accessed ONLINE on payment of the sum of #10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only.

  • Photocopies of relevant credentials,
